1:00 – 3:00 pm: Workshops and Presentations – Meeting/Banquet Room

1. “Update on DNA testing" Several PDA members participated in testing, through FamilyTree/DNA, and discussion in general about using this newest technology to trace your family roots and conduct Genealogical Research” – By PDA President, Robin Daviet – Did you know that there are some PDA members and Poindexter cousins who have already taken advantage of this new testing and evaluation process? Attend and learn more about this valuable present and future process!
2. “Tracing Your Family Roots By Visiting Cemeteries, and Using Information Found on Tombstones, as Your Road Map” – By Doris Ann Butler Lucas – You must see and hear this presentation to realize just how easy it can be to discover a wealth of information about your family genealogy by locating and visiting the right churches and cemeteries!

3:15 – 4:45 pm: Annual PDA Membership Business Meeting – All members are asked to attend for very important past and present business related to your Poindexter Descendants Association. And Guests are also welcome. In the Meeting/Banquet Room.

5:15 – 6:15 pm: Family Photos – Everyone attending the PDA Reunion is asked to be present for this traditional group photo. Our photographer does not charge any posing fees and will also do other individual family or special group poses, if you would like, and he will provide the appropriate order forms at that time. Meet just outside the Meeting/Banquet Room, before the Banquet and Gift Exchange.

6:30pm: Annual Dinner Banquet and Gift Exchange– Banquet Room – Dinner Buffet, good friends, plus our annual gift exchange. We suggest each member of your party bring a gift so each receives a gift. Best choice is to bring something from your home town with a suggested value of $15 - $20.

We will conclude the 2006 PDA Reunion with a “Final Historical/Genealogy Review Presentation” – By Al Hill, Richard Poindexter and Rick Poindexter – A recap of the highlights of this year’s reunion, PLUS a surprise ending presentation, which will also be given to those in attendance on a CD-ROM.
