Airfare and Flight Itinerary:
Transportation from the United States to England is not included and is your responsibility to book and pay for. Whether you are flying from the U.S. or from other countries, plan your Itinerary to arrive at London's Gatwick airport on the morning of Saturday, June 2nd. Charter Bus transportation will be available from Gatwick Airport to the hotel for passengers arriving and clearing customs in the morning of June 2nd. A meeting place will be designated and the bus will depart Gatwick at 12:00 noon. If you will not be arriving in time, you will need to travel by train from the Airport to Eastbourne (your cost). Details for either process will be provided to registrants during 2007.
Going on to Jersey? If you are continuing on to the optional add-on Jersey tour on June 9th, a charter bus will take you back to Gatwick that morning to catch your flight to Jersey (see Jersey segment to register for this segment separately). The Jersey segment will return you to Gatwick the morning of Saturday, June 16th. Plan your flight home that afternoon from Gatwick.
Passports and travel to England:
Citizens of the United States will need current and valid Passports issued by the U.S. Do not wait to the last minute to order yours. Give the government at least three months to process. Information on obtaining or renewing your passport is available at this US Postal Service web site.
Other tips about travel to England can be found at this State Department web site.
