We will travel to the James Farm, in Kearney, MO. This is where Frank and Jesse were raised and raided from. This is the birth place and childhood home of Frank and Jesse James.  We will tour the farm and museum which contains items from Frank and Jesse.

Next we travel to Independance. Missouri, to tour the Bingham-Waggoner Estate, a 19.5 acre tract and mansion that is home to a history museum devoted to life during the westward movement, civil war and after. In the early settlement days, before established roads were laid out, the estate grounds were considered a "short-cut" on the road that was later to become part of the "Santa Fe Trail". Because of this high-traffic location the property had many owners between 1827 and 1878. Some hoping to make a living from outfitting the covered wagon trains, others were apparently just real-estate speculators. Some of the owners played a significant role in the establishment of this area and the West. They became prominent businessmen, helping to found other communities and the beginnings of the Pony Express.

Travel to the National Frontier Trails Museum in Independence, Missouri for an enlightening experience in frontier living. The Museum includes an interpretive center, and research library dedicated to telling the rich history of America’s principle western trails, Santa Fe Trail, Oregon Trail and the California Trail.

Travel to Independence Square . Yes, visit the original city jail where Jesse James and William Quantrill were detained. Also at Liberty Square is unique shops and period storefronts for shopping and site seeing.  Stop by Clinton’s Soda Fountain for some good ice cream and other treats.   President Bill Clinton stopped here!

During the bus tour, we will have lunch at HomeTown Buffet in Independence. Meal cost is not included in registration (Dutch treat).

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm Dinner: Dinner at Gates BBQ, Kansas City's finest BBQ. Meet in the hotel lobby at 6:30pm. We will be carpooling, please bring your car to entrance if you can provide a ride. Cost is not included in registration (Dutch Treat). Maps will be available. 10440 E. Hyw. 40, Independence, MO (about 10 minutes from the hotel). If lost, call the restaurant at 816-353-5880.
